An entrepreneur is usually a person who would accept and take some form of risk in setting up a new creative and innovative venture or business. The risk is usually financial and entrepreneurs are usually very hard-working and would go all out to drive the business idea.
There are of course failures in any sort of ventures, but when entrepreneurs make it, they are usually very rewarding. Bill Gates of Microsoft, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook and the late Steve Jobs of Apple are some famous entrepreneurs who made it big with an idea or an innovation.
There is a misconception between a businessman and an entrepreneur. An entrepreneur creates new opportunities with new ideas in any business environment while a businessman invest in an existing business opportunity.
