Workman Compensation Act / Work Injury Compensation Act Quotation System,
Singapore
The Workman's Compensation Act provides compensation to all injured workers and dependants of deceased workers. It is enforced by the Work Injury Compensation Department, Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
We specialise in Workman's Injury Compensation Act (WICA) Stand-Alone Insurance Policy. In fact we are one of the few in Singapore to provide this service. In the past, businesses in Singapore found it difficult to get stand-alone WICA insurance policies. They have to purchase a package of business insurance with WICA embedded in it. This has been very cumbersome and not cost effective for businesses.
Now, we provide stand-alone WICA insurance policies to provide convenient one-touch service at the same time it reduces business insurance costs considerably.

Who Has To Compensate When A Workman Is Injured?
The Company or its insurer must pay. Under the Workmen's Compensation Act, you are required by law to take up workman's compensation insurance for all your workmen. What Should I Do When My Workman Is Injured?
1. You should send your injured worker to see a doctor as soon as possible.
2. You need to give a copy of the Medical Report for Workmen's Compensation to the doctor treating your workman's injury. The doctor will fill up the form and send it directly to the Work Injury Compensation Department, Ministry of Manpower.
3. You must pay for all medical fees and expenses.
4. You must continue to pay your worker's wages while he/she is on medical or hospitalisation leave.
5. You must report the accident using the iReport on MOM's website.
6. You will finally receive a Notice of Assessment from the Work Injury Compensation Department. 7. You or your insurer must then pay the compensation directly to the workman or to the Commissioner, Work Injury Compensation Department.
